In !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I asked what you guys wanted to know about my press car. Here are the answers:

How is storage space? Great for a supercar but pretty dismal really. It has one deep trunk at the front and it's big enough to fit a small igloo cooler and a few balled up T shirts. that's it. It could also fit a race helmet or a decent briefcase but you and your wife won't fit your luggage for 5 days in here.

Livability? Totally livable with the exception of the ride. I don't know why I expected anything else but it rides harder and stiffer than any new car I've been in. This is a very rigid car and it feels it. Other than that, it's easy to get in and out of, the exhaust isn't overbearing and the interior is beautifully finished. Forward visibility is also excellent and rearwards is meh.

Does the R8 feel old or dated? Maybe a little on the interior but not really. It still gets plenty of stares and points in Toronto. And it looks a hell of a lot better than the Gallardo which has aged poorly in my opinion. It might be an 8 year old design but it still works.

How hard is it to launch? I actually dropped the ball here and couldn't tell you. My guess is balls hard.

What's it like driving the last of the gated shifters? It's as good as everyone says it is. My god, there's that little metallic "klinck" to accompany each shift. It's really worth the price of admission just for the lovely shifter. Can't say enough good about it. It's just romantic in the best way.

Does it make you feel like Tony Stark, or at least RDJ? It absolutely does. It's hard not to feel like a big deal (even though it's not my car) when you have a 550 horse V10 over your shoulder and everyone keeps staring at you.

Any more stuff you want to know about the car? Let me know and I'll do my best to answer it.

One day :( I'm not the reviewer, just the camera guy so I don't get to live with it or anything. Though I wish I could!

I test drove one but it had paddles ;(

Gated shifters FTW!

I'm surprised you thought the ride was hard. I thought it was as soft as an Audi A4. It felt so damn comfy to me with those magnetic dampers. My DD is a 997 and the R8 felt like a Rolls Royce in comparison.
